Barrister Gohar Ali Khan, the chairman of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), requested the current government on Thursday to consult the parliament regarding the Jaffar Express incident.
Khan praised the security forces for a successful operation against extremists in an exclusive interview with Samaa TV. “We commend the efforts of the security forces.”
During the National Assembly session, Khan shared his thoughts and condemned the unfortunate event, saying, “We deeply extend our sympathy to the affected families.”
“The Army is rendering the sacrifices for the sake of the country,” Khan stated.
In contrast, PTI Secretary General Salman Akram Raja stated during a press conference that “The PTI is standing with the masses during the difficult hour.”
