Tuesday’s earthquake with a magnitude of 3.3 rock hit the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province in northwest Pakistan, including the Swat Valley.
The epicenter of the earthquakes was found 44 km north of Chitral, and the Seismograph Centre reports that the tremors were felt at a depth of 31 km.
In spite of the magnitude of the earthquake, no area of the capital or its surrounding regions had reported any injuries or property damage.
Following the earthquake, terrified residents began reciting passages from the Holy Quran as they emerged from their houses. In the meanwhile, there have been no reports of casualties or property damage from the earthquake in any area of the capital.
