At Chester Cathedral on Friday, in front of some 400 guests, including Prince William and Princess Eugenie, billionaire duke Hugh Grosvenor wed Olivia Henson.
It was one of the most distinguished social gatherings of the year, with Grosvenor dubbed Britain’s most eligible bachelor.
Following his father’s death in 2016 from a heart attack, the duke inherited his title and management of the storied Grosvenor Estate at the age of 25, instantly making him a billionaire.
The duchess met the duke through common friends while working as a senior accounts manager at the London-based ethical food firm Belazu.
Currently residing in London, they intend to establish their married life in Chester, the ancestral home of the Grosvenor family.
“We are deeply grateful to everyone who supported us yesterday and want to extend a special thank you to those in Chester who helped make our day so memorable,” the newlyweds shared new wedding day images.
“Everyone’s incredible support and well wishes have touched us deeply.”
Photographer Benjamin Wheeler took the pictures at Eaton Estate after the service.
They feature a color photo of the bride facing the camera, showcasing the six-foot train of her ivory bridal gown that cascades over a wide circular keyhole aperture that exposes a portion of her back.
