Chaudhry Parvez Elahi’s wife, Qaisara Elahi, has categorically refuted rumors that Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain and Chaudhry Parvez Elahi’s families are reconciling.
She stressed in a statement that there hasn’t been any family reconciliation and called the claims claiming otherwise to be untrue.
“Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain had no role in the release of Chaudhry Parvez Elahi,” said Qaisara. She credited God and the legal system for her husband’s freedom.
She said, “Parvez Elahi was released by the grace of Allah, and the courts gave us justice.” She also said that Parvez had told Shujaat that unless the PTI’s stolen mandate was returned, there would be no progress.
Moonis Elahi and Parvez Elahi remain resolute in their support of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), Qaisara emphasized.
She said, “Not only Moonis Elahi but also Chaudhry Parvez Elahi will stay with PTI,” alluding to her husband’s recent declaration in which he made it apparent that he intended to stick with the PTI.
