The Taliban’s expansionist ideology and contempt for regional peace and stability have been made clear by the commander’s open focus on Tajikistan.
This occurs in spite of the fact that their government, which previously pledged non-interference, is now endangering its neighbors.
The goals of the Taliban extend well beyond the boundaries of Afghanistan, and this must be recognized by the international community. Taliban leaders carelessly invite conflict by ignoring diplomacy and peaceful coexistence by labeling Tajikistan weak and rejecting Russia’s deterrence.
