Tuesday saw the humorous release of a new Instagram video in which Courtney Cox poked fun at her embarrassing hairstyles while taking a journey down memory lane.
In a hilarious Instagram video that she posted, Cox,59, was working outside when a person wearing a grey hoodie asked her, “What’s going on?” The actress replied, “Construction,” but then she noticed an awful photo of her Scream 3 fringe on the hoodie.
The Friends star asks again, “What is that? The bangs? Come on. That is absurd. It’s awkward.
Later in the film, she can be seen entering the house to question the workers about the construction. It is there that she meets three people wearing sweatshirts, all of whom had contentious hairstyles, including Monica Geller from Friends, who has frizzy hair.
Nonetheless, this was not the initial instance where the Family Ties star ridiculed her hairdos. “Each ‘Scream’ I would try to come up with a different look for her that was just over the top gross, or ugly, or too much,” she said in reflection during The Drew Barrymore presentation in 2022.
Still, the film is an homage to nostalgia as viewers reminisce about the cherished characters, and the heartfelt comments underneath the video attest to that. Cox revitalizes the social media scene with her contagious personality and her willingness to poke fun at herself.
